Post 176: Floral Birthday Card

Hi Friends :)

I'd like to share a floral birthday card today.
This is inspired by the design of the beautiful mother's day card made by Heather Hoffman for Winnie & Walter's Rerun 19. I loved the idea of using a floral pattern paper and having the sentiment in the middle. Also, the addition of the twine. I tweaked the card design a bit and also made it into a birthday card because I usually need a lot of birthday cards :) I've added the sentiment on a vellum die cut and colored the die cut with some distress oxide. Embellished the card with dew droplets in light pink color.

List of Supplies:

Winnie & Walter Cutaways- Wishes (die cut)
Winnie & Walter Stamp- The Big, the bold and the happy (birthday)
Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Ovals Die
DCWV 12 by 12 papers - Teenage Dream Stack
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
Distress Oxide- Broken China (to color the die cut wishes)
Iris White and black cardstock 250 gsm
Twine
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Glossy Accents
Dew Drops (Orchid)- The Robin's Nest
Vellum

Here is a picture of the card:

I am playing along with the following challenges:

W & W Rerun No. 19- Parentville (I didn't have these stamps so I was inspired by Heather's Mother's day card in the use of the floral background, the use of twine and the central placement of the sentiments and the blue color of the sentiment)
